Hi {{first_name}}
Welcome back to another The Real Lesson
This week’s recipe is an original recipe because I looked for it and couldn't find it done this way — so I made it myself.
That felt good.
In the News
This week’s bake: Ginger Coconut Cookies
Fresh ginger, fresh coconut pulp, freshly grated nutmeg. Crispy edges, soft center.

Stay Inspired
This week's lesson was about measuring first and adjusting later. And I'll admit — I tried to do it the other way around once. Adjusted the measurements before I even made the recipe the first time.
It did not go well.
But that's the thing about baking. It teaches you to trust the process before you try to change it. Make it once. Feel it. Then decide what it needs.
In the Spotlight
On the blog this week I wrote about kitchen wins I didn't celebrate enough. Including the black cake. Including getting paid for my baking. Including all the times people asked for more and I brushed it off.
Writing it reminded me — the wins were always there. They were just uncelebrated and I wasn't letting myself feel them.
This week I'm letting myself feel week 3. Original recipe. Fresh everything. And it was really good.
In case you missed it…
